Our Mission

Central Purrk Cat Cafe's mission is to make a difference in the lives of adoptable cats in the Georgetown & Lexington, Kentucky areas.

By creating a fun, safe and loving environment that helps create a connection between people and the rescue cats we foster, we hope to help place more unwanted and abandoned cats into loving homes.

Who we are

We are a husband and wife team who want to make a difference in the lives of the people and pets in our area.

Why a cat cafe?

It's a really simple reason:

CATS NEED OUR HELP. In the United States,

3.4 million cats enter animal shelters each year
1.4 million cats are euthanized
70 million cats are strays or ferals

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Cat cafés create win-win situations. People get a super cool place to hang out with cats. Cats are able to avoid being in a cage in shelter, they are able to socialize with humans where their true personality can shine, and hopefully find their forever home.
